The Goblins’ Halloween Ball
The annual ball is a staid old tradition,
Minuets, waltzes—selective admission.
For too many years ghosties spied from afar.
But this year they sneak in and bring a guitar!
Tiptoeing Tangos turn into The Bump.
The dancers all jump, then they clump and they thump.
The old goblins gasp, but the young ones join in . . .
With Robot and Hip Hop—they shimmy and spin.
Chicken dance, cha-cha, and even ballet,
When chill turns to daylight, they Conga away—
Then breakfast together on scones and root beer
These ghosties and goblins plan pranks for next year!
